Theological camp:

THE APOCALYPSE HAS BEGUN
What are we doing with religion/s?

What do we need in our life? Can a church, a religion, a theology respond to these needs? Why do we need a church? Why do we even look for a religious community? Is believing in God still away to find peace? In which situations is a religion born or reborn? In particular, faced with the apocalyptic prospects given by the climate change or other crises, what are we looking for in a religion?
If you can’t answer all these questions or might even have more, you are warmly invited to our camp. Between daily morning meditations and evening spiritual aperitivs, you will experience the community of Agape with all it’s respectful and acceptant lifestyle. We want to exchange our opinions in discussions, games, roleplays, and many more surprises.

Oikonomical camp:

ECONOMY IS CARE

“If Economy were never Care, then you who are reading this text right now would no longer be alive” (Economy is care – (Not) a walk; Swiss Women’s Synod 2021).
When we think of the economy, we think of money, banks, exchange of goods and services. We may also think of charts and graphs. We normally don’t think of cooking, cleaning, spending time with friends or raising children; stuff that we take for granted in our daily lives. But in most economic textbooks, economy is defined as the actions that satisfy human needs. From our own experience, we all know that our needs include a wide range of activities that money cannot buy. It seems the economy is much more than what is commonly referred to today; some of its most important aspects, like care, are not taken into account.
This year, the Oikonomic camp invites you to discover with us what the economy can and should be about and how the economy is intrinsically linked to care. We welcome you to participate in a four-day journey to exchange, discuss, and generate ideas about the ways we fulfill our needs, while learning about Agape’s community life, all in the light of a care-centred economy.

Ultragender camp:

BODIES THAT MATTERS

Is health care in your country keeping you healthy? Is it a luxury or a human right? Who’s bodies are more “valuable”? Have you ever felt that your body is a battleground?
Our bodies are our homes. But our bodies are all different and we need health care that is different, too. The agape international ultragender 2022 camp will examine the idea of ‘health’ starting from our gendered bodies.
The camp will feature panel discussions, workshops, opportunities for dancing, hiking, meditations, and art projects. With interactive and fun activities, participants from all around the world will be welcomed to Agape to share – in a safe space – the experiences of our bodies and how we are able to take care of it. Each day of the camp will invite participants to share their own experiences and thoughts of health topics related to our genders, sexes and our bodies, including: women’s and men’s health, lgbtqia+ health, health care systems in our different countries, toxic masculinity, experiences of menstruation, hiv/aids, mental health, drug patents, health laws in europe and how our bodies process trauma.
All are welcome: straight, lesbian, gay, cis, trans, asexual, pansexual, non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, etc… And no special knowledge is needed — at the ultragender camp, you are the expert of your own body!
