From the Resident group and Committees

Dear Friends of Agape,
As many of you already know, Caterina Duprè, against her wishes, will have to leave her position as Director of Agape due to serious health problems, much to our great sorrow.
The Center and its Committees are therefore faced with the necessity of finding her replacement more quickly than originally anticipated.
The Waldensian Board, General Committee, and Executive Committee have begun a search for the next director. The aforementioned groups, believing it useful to do so, wish to extend news of the search for a new director to the network of people who have Agape in their hearts.
Nominations should be sent to agape@pec.agapecentroecumenico.org and will be evaluated by a commission, which was nominated by Agape’s Committees October 5th. We need individuals who know Agape well, who are preferably, but not exclusively, pastoral figures or deacons, and who will be available to already begin the summer of 2015.
The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2014.
For now, Agape’s Committees are evaluating appointing a temporary “senior” figure with opportune knowledge of the center and the necessary skills to help out the current Vice Director, Demetrio Canale. Said figure would start at Agape in the next couple of weeks, when Valentina Tousijn, the former Vice Director, will be leaving her position at Agape.
A fond farewell to all of you and a warm thank you from the heart for all those people near and far who have supported and continue to support Agape through these difficult times.
