The workcamp is an international experience, giving the volunteers the opportunity to meet young people from all over the world, where the main watchword at the Center is diversity and openmindedness. The work accomplished on each camp is very important, the volunteers themselves are the main reason for Agape to be able to keep organizing more and more projects every year. As a volunteer, you will be asked to work WITH the Resident Group. Every Resident has a sector of which they are responsible (kitchen, cleaning, bar, maintenance,… and so on), in which you will help them, each of the Residents will be there to help you and support you. Besides, you all will organize discussions nights, games, and so on… Regarding the working hours, they might vary according to the type of work you are involved in. Yet, an average of 6 to 7 hours a day is required, six days a week.

You can choose one or more periods for your stay, we would ask you to respect arrival and leaving days, but we might consider specific requests.
We would be happy to take in consideration request of people who wish to stay longer than three weeks. Food and accommodation costs are covered, no participation fee is requested.
We might have the chance to access to some fundings and therefore support participants with some expenses (travel costs or pocket money), please tell us if you need this kind of help or if you
would be interested in participating anyway. Participation at the Working Camp has no age limit, but the access to extra fundings above mentioned is possible only for participants until 30 years old.

Reminder:

• Early notification of any medical problems, (medications, allergies, diuresis, phobias, etc...), or dietary (food allergies, forbidden foods, etc...; in these cases it would be really important that you notify us of any needs at least a week in advance, to allow the kitchen to set up properly) is very important. Enclose a sheet at the time of registration.

• Adult(s) and youth(s) over the age of 14 must have a valid ID card or document.

• Agape is not liable for accidents or damages that may occur. The Center is only liable for cash and personal items if they are expressly turned over for safekeeping. Agape will seek reimbursement for damages caused by guests.

• Agape cannot administer medication. If there are special needs, it is necessary to provide the necessary supplies before arriving. The pharmaceutical dispensary in Prali is not open every day.

• Agape cannot accommodate, for hygienic reasons, dogs or other animals inside the Center.

• Agape provides blankets and sheets, but you must bring your own towels. Rooms are three- or four-bed, with bathrooms on the floor; no single or double rooms are provided.

• Please note that Agape is located at 1,600 meters above sea level, and even in summer, evenings are particularly cold.
