Politics, Parties, and also people like us are often defined as left, right, center. But what does this actually mean? Why do we call it like this? Which is the center, then, and who defined it? Who do we choose to define, how and why? Can we use different stories to explain our reality? Do the categories mean the same everywhere?
With the re-emergence of right–wing ideologies and parties, which erode the liberal mask of modern exploitative capitalism, answering these questions can help to position ourselves as organisations, collectives, and as individuals. We have to make sense of a changing world of multiple intersecting crises, and the first step might be to re-evaluate our own position in all of it.
In this camp, we will explore the limits, the contradictions, and also the potentials of defining politics across a spectrum. We will look at the origins of this story, how it is being used and manifested in our different realities. Together, we will try to explore the grey zones of the spectrum, and try to imagine where we can go when we define things differently. Can we leave this story behind and move beyond the harsh reality that birthed it? Do other stories exist? Or do we have to write new ones?

Participants agree to take part fully in camp life and its study activities. Early departures and late arrivals are not permitted; in the event of an unexpected early departure, the fee is non-refundable, even partially. It is important to arrive and check in on time on the first day of camp for logistical and organizational reasons. Similarly, it is important to be punctual on the day of departure

Each participant is asked to help with serving at the table and drying the dishes, both because it is necessary and because, for us, it represents an important sign of sharing the work.
You will have the opportunity to speak with the staff at the beginning of camp if you believe you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation in camp activities. We would love to meet you and chat with you in the months leading up to camp. For logistical information, please contact [email protected], who will provide you with the staff's direct contact details if necessary.
A short trip is planned during the camp: therefore, a windbreaker, hiking boots (or sturdy sneakers), a backpack, and a water bottle are required.
