In many regions of the world marked by social, political, and economic crises, religious fundamentalism develops as an identity-based response that simplifies faith and uses it to legitimize exclusion, control, and conflict. These dynamics have serious consequences for the lives of individuals and societies: rejection of dialogue, relationships shaped by violence, gender discrimination, homophobia, xenophobia, and religious violence. They also leave deep spiritual wounds in those who have grown up and lived within churches where faith has been used to produce fear, guilt, silence, and exclusion.
This international theological camp aims to offer an ecumenical and interreligious space to critically analyze the theological, historical, and social roots of religious fundamentalisms in different global contexts, while also opening a path toward acknowledging and healing these wounds. Through dialogue among faith traditions, biblical and theological reflection, and the sharing of local experiences, the camp seeks to strengthen the responsibility of religious communities to promote a life-giving faith: open to dialogue, respectful of human rights, and committed to building just and peaceful relationships in society and public life.

Participants agree to take part fully in camp life and its study activities. Early departures and late arrivals are not permitted; in the event of an unexpected early departure, the fee is non-refundable, even partially. It is important to arrive and check in on time on the first day of camp for logistical and organizational reasons. Similarly, it is important to be punctual on the day of departure

Each participant is asked to help with serving at the table and drying the dishes, both because it is necessary and because, for us, it represents an important sign of sharing the work.
You will have the opportunity to speak with the staff at the beginning of camp if you believe you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation in camp activities. A short trip is planned during the camp: therefore, a windbreaker, hiking boots (or sturdy sneakers), a backpack, and a water bottle are required.
