In the course of the last few years, it has emerged on several occasions how the Agape project is going through a phase of transformation that at different levels brings a generalised difficulty in the management of activities. We can speak also for Agape of a phase of crisis that we want, however, to live as an important opportunity to rethink ourselves in this moment of change inside and outside our Centre.
We would like to start a participatory and collective journey to think together about what the meaning of the Agape project still is, to rediscover the original vocation and redefine it in the light of a new way of living participation, voluntary work, service, faith, spirituality and the sense of community. We want to start first of all by understanding what we need to question ourselves.
How to do it? Following on from the reflections that emerged from the AAACE 2024, we invite you on 7 December first of all to understand together how to organise this pathway: what issues to tackle, how, with what tools, with what resources and with what timeframe. We would like to reason together on how to set up and organise this path, and to do this we need all the people who are willing to get involved, to give their contribution to renew the sense of a project that has kept us bound together for more than 70 years.
We look forward to seeing you from 9.30 a.m., together with the CAAACE, the GR and the committees, for an extended day-long meeting, which will end before dinner (around 6.30 p.m.). For those who cannot be present, we will try to offer the possibility of being able to connect online for at least some of the day.
The meeting follows the AAACE participation guidelines. There is the possibility of staying overnight the night before or after for those who need to, to be communicated to the Agape office. There is no reimbursement of travel expenses.
