LOST IN COMMUNITY

Le parole possono filtrare i nostri pensieri e sentimenti, ma a volte non sono sufficienti a esprimere ciò che realmente vogliamo dire. Esiste un linguaggio che va oltre le parole, un intraducibile che appartiene ad altri mondi comunicativi. Forse le parole sono sopravalutate e la lingua che usiamo non è sufficiente a catturare la complessità dei nostri pensieri e sentimenti.

Invece di cercare le parole giuste, possiamo provare a danzare sull’orlo del non detto, ascoltando ciò che emerge dagli spazi tra le parole. Possiamo lasciare andare la necessità di spiegare e capire, e semplicemente lasciarci dire dalle cose stesse. A volte nella comunità in cui viviamo è necessario passare da qui, per ritornare a comprenderci. Il nostro campo propone un’immersione nella community life, in cui attività di diverse tipologie, tra plenarie, gruppi e momenti di riflessione personale, trovare chiavi differenti e superare l’intraducibilità dell’esperienza.

• It is very important to notify us in advance of any medical issues (medications, allergies, diuresis, phobias, etc.) or dietary requirements (food allergies, prohibited foods, etc.). In these cases, it is essential that you notify us of any special needs at least one week in advance so that the kitchen can make the necessary arrangements. Please attach a sheet when registering and speak directly to the staff at the beginning of the camp.

• Adults and children over the age of 14 must have a valid ID card or other valid document.

• Agape is not liable for accidents or damage that may occur during the camps due to failure to comply with the internal regulations and rules decided from time to time in the various camps. The Center is liable for the cash and belongings of camp participants only if expressly handed over for safekeeping. Agape will seek reimbursement for damage caused by guests.

• Agape cannot administer medication. If you have any special needs, you must bring the necessary supplies with you before arriving. The pharmacy in Prali is not open every day.

• For hygiene reasons, Agape cannot accommodate dogs or other animals inside the Center.

• Agape provides blankets and sheets, but you must bring your own towels. Rooms are triple or quadruple, with shared bathrooms on each floor; there are no single or double rooms available.

• Please note that Agape is located at 1,600 meters above sea level and, even in summer, evenings can be particularly cold.
