La política, los partidos y también personas como nosotrxs suelen ser definidxs como de izquierda, de derecha o de centro. Pero ¿qué significa realmente eso? ¿Por qué los y nos llamamos así? ¿Dónde está, entonces, el centro y quién lo ha definido? ¿A quién elegimos para definir, cómo y por qué? ¿Podemos usar historias diferentes para explicar nuestra realidad? ¿Estas categorías significan lo mismo en todas partes del mundo?
Con el reciente resurgimiento de ideologías y partidos de derecha en el mundo, que erosionan la máscara liberal del capitalismo moderno y explotador, responder a estas preguntas puede ayudarnos a posicionarnos como organizaciones, como colectivos y como individuos. Necesitamos dar sentido a un mundo en transformación, atravesado por crisis múltiples e interconectadas, y el primer paso podría ser reevaluar nuestras posiciones (relativas) dentro de este contexto.
En este campo exploraremos los límites, las contradicciones y también las potencialidades de definir la política a lo largo de un espectro. Observaremos los orígenes de esta narrativa, cómo se utiliza y cómo se manifiesta en nuestras distintas realidades. Juntes, intentaremos explorar las zonas grises del espectro e imaginar hacia dónde podemos ir cuando definimos las cosas de otra manera. ¿Podemos dejar atrás esta historia binaria y superar la realidad que la generó? ¿Existen otras historias? ¿O debemos escribir nuevas?

Participants agree to take part fully in camp life and its study activities. Early departures and late arrivals are not permitted; in the event of an unexpected early departure, the fee is non-refundable, even partially. Each participant is asked to help with serving at the table and drying the dishes, both because it is necessary and because, for us, it represents an important sign of sharing the work.
You will have the opportunity to speak with the staff at the beginning of camp if you believe you have any medical conditions that may affect your participation in camp activities. A short trip is planned during the camp: therefore, a windbreaker, hiking boots (or sturdy sneakers), a backpack, and a water bottle are required.
